As a member of SSAA you are part of an Australia wide support network, with access to SSAA Sporting Facilities in each State. In Victoria alone we have 19 Branches, over 12 Ranges and approximately 25,000 members. Political Lobbing
SSAA Victoria promotes the interests of shooters to all levels of government.
Public Relations
We promote numerous shooting programmes to the general public, special programmes for men, women and juniors are conducted regularly.

All members of SSAA are covered by a $20 million dollar public liability insurance policy.
Facilities
SSAA Vic provides many shooting facilities throughout Victoria. Branches throughout the State have their own local programmes, where people of like interests can relax, have fun and make new friends.

Included in the cost of membership, all members receive 11 issues of the national magazine the "Australian Shooter".

Most clubs and country centres offer regular monthly meetings as do our Special Interest Groups.

Family Facilities
Shooting is a great family sport. Target shooting is one of the few sports available that the whole family can do together and it doesn't have to be expensive. SSAA provides friendly facilities where there are activities for the whole family.
Sport for everybody
People of all ages (11 to 100) and all fitness levels can join in and enjoy the sport. People with disabilities (with few exceptions), can participate fully in this sport. The SSAA has experienced coaches to assist and special programs for everybody.

How to join?
Joining the SSAA Victoria is simple and cheap.
You just need to fill out the application form, which you can download on line, or you can call the State office on 8892 2777 and join by phone. The prices range from $21.00 to $98.00 dollars per year according to the category or options you might choose.
