Opening Times
Every weekend, usually on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Wodonga Branch Standing Range Calendar is:
Each Saturday- 1.30 pm pistol shooting on 25 and 50 metre ranges.
First Sunday- No shooting on 200 or 300 metre ranges. Nor on the preceding Saturday.
Second Sunday- 11.00 am Benchrest, Metallic Silhouette, Field Rifle, 3P and any other rifle events required by members.
Third Sunday- 11.00 am Lever Action, 1.00 pm Colonial Action.
Fourth Sunday- 11.00 am Black Powder Pistol, 1.00 pm Black Powder longarms.
Fifth Sunday- General shooting practice.
We also enjoy general shooting practice each Wednesday 10.00am to 6.00pm and on Saturdays between 10.00am and 6.00pm by arrangement.
There is no shooting allowed on days of total fire ban.
Disciplines:
All outdoor shooting desire by members including rifle, pistol and shotgun.
Smokeless matches and black powder. Range facitlities: 25m & 50m, 200m & 300m.
Range Information
Our ranges are part of 86 ha jointly owned by SSAA (Vic), Wodonga Pistol Club and Wodonga/Albury Field & Game. They are situated 5 minutes drive west of Wodonga alongside the Hume Freeway. Visitors are always welcome on shooting days.
Facilities include gas stove and barbecue, tank water, toilets and a covered firing point.
