Pistol & Handgun shooting – Military Pistol Club
This is an "approved handgun target shooting club" recognised by the Police Licensing Services Division. Its aim, like the rifle club, is to foster an interest in the collection and use of original military–type firearms. It also aims to provide events for a wide range of handgun types and its competitions include:
- 25m competition for.22 and up to .38 calibre, at the Springvale Range.
- Service Match Restricted and Unrestricted, at the Eagle Park range in Little River (this is the club's core event).
- IPSC, Metallic Silhouette Field Pistol, and Blackpowder handgun, at the Eagle Park in Little River.
Applicants to join the Military Pistol Club must have been members of the Military Rifle Club for at least six months prior to submitting their application.
